LayerView's unique Conversations View shows a list of all the conversations which were captured for any of LayerView's supported protocols.

The Conversations View can be accessed by clicking the Conversations toolbar button: or by opening the View menu and selecting Conversations.
A conversation consists of all the data transfered for a specific purpose between two computers. For example when a web page is requested via HTTP, a conversation will be shown which consists of the data transfered to and from the web server.

The left hand pane gives a list of all the conversations which were captured and analyzed. The right hand pane shows an in-depth view of the contents of the conversation (for example in the above case this shows the HTTP data transfered - in this case an HTTP GET request for /firefox?client=firefox-a&rls=org.mozilla:en-GB:official.)
You can right-click any conversation in the left hand pane for further options, such as to view the low level data transfers in the Low Level view.
